Weather you need to build a car, an aircraft, wind turbines or anything large scale, you want to build a small model first to support accuracy and fine details. You want to test it under wind, preassure and heat conditions so that you can correct the design if needed prior to full production fabrication.

Rough foam model and prototype can give the customer the idea of how the final product will look like without spending a whole lot of money on the actual part.
Materials:
We use EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) material in cases where non-critical forms are needed - no critical dimensions or accuracy, or no requirement for a smooth finish.
The EPS can also be hard coated to last for a life time and to serve as protection from sun, heat, water, humidly or corrosion damages.
We use tooling foam (HDU High Density Urethane) for moulds and critical dimesnions forms. This material gives a smooth finish and is best for mold making.
Other types of materials used for prototypes include Polyethylene (PE), Cross-Linked Polyethylene, Expanded Polypropylene (EPP), MDF and more. Once we inspect the CAD file we can offer the right material for the job.
